Downtown Clean Up

Alley Fair demonstrates the possibilities that exist within the urban landscape of Fargo. It creates an ephemeral experience of places that could be if we were as deliberate about space, scale, and design as we are in making Alley Fair. You can see the results of one of our large scale events in this short recap video:

In celebration of Earth Day and our love of Downtown Fargo’s alleyways, we teamed up with the Hotel Donaldson for a Downtown Clean Up. We pulled together some supplies and let the downtown community know where to meet us.

After the clean up, we gathered at the Hotel Donaldson to celebrate with food and music by Diane Miller and Tom Johnson.

Fargoans care about the places where they spend time, and the places that they have a hand in creating. Alley Fair continues to involve our community in projects that encourage others to take ownership in public space.
